search engine which simplifies research for those interested in the ancient world has been
developed by Professor Anthony Beavers at the University of Evansville in the United
States. Argos indexes only those Internet resources which are relevant to the study of the
ancient and medieval worlds and is therefore termed a LASE, limited area search engine.
